Here, you will enjoy a cruise on the Douro River with port wine tasting included! The following day you will visit historic Coimbra, home of the oldest university in Portugal, for a one-night stay at the at the magnificent 5-star Quinta das Lágrima: a retreat of peace and tranquility set within an 18th century palace surrounded by 12 acres of lush gardens! 

Next, board the Norwegian Star for an epic voyage where you will spend the next 10 nights living in luxury. After a relaxing day at sea, our first port of call in the Azores is Ponta Delgada. As the heart of tourism of the Azores, Ponta Delgada offers much to see and do along with a mild climate and lush vegetation. Impressive churches and majestic white houses stand as a constant reminder of the city's illustrious past. We continue on to our next destination in the Azores: Horta. Tucked away in the Azores islands, Horta is a popular stop  full of greenery, cliffs and volcanos, visit the Vulcão dos Capelinhos, where an eruption in the 1950s actually extended the island and buried a lighthouse in ash. 

Next, we arrive in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife's capital city offering plenty to do and many seaside activities. This port is located nearly 1,300 km from mainland Spain and 210 km from Northern Africa. Historically considered a link between the four continents of Africa, North America, South America, and Europe; this city was named as one of the top five places to live in the world. Next, we sail to Arrecife known for its unique landscape formed by volcanoes over several centuries. Arrecife means "reef' in Spanish and this city is renowned for its abundance of reefs and islets along its coast. Explore the capital city of the island of Lanzarote, part of the Canary Islands!

Say hello to Morocco! Our first port of call in this north-west African country is Agadir known for its expansive beaches that look almost endless as you enjoy the mosaic of cultures found no where else in the world! Next visit Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco; a feast of the senses with its souks (markets) and traditions that come alive to all the residents and visitors daily! 

We travel to the port of Cadiz giving you access to the city of Seville, the capital of Spain's Andalusian region with its bustling squares filled with locals and visitors alike. Stop and taste the tapas and smell the orange blossoms during a stroll down the winding Medieval lanes. But be sure you leave time to visit the breathtaking Plaza de España.
